Born in Dyersburg Tennessee, Evangelist Theresa Battles-Owens at the age of
eleven along with her family relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she currently resided with Elder Rodney Owens and their children. In her quest to fulfill the mandate on her life, she became a member of the Free Will Church of Deliverance in the year of 1989. Under the leadership of her then Pastor
Bishop Bernard Dotson, Evangelist Battles-Owens grew tremendously, she allowed God to use her as a speaking voice to a dying community. As a result of her faithful service and dedication, she was elevated to the position of Evangelist. Her personal testimony is befitting of her favorite scripture

Seeking to learn more of God and the Gospels Evangelist Battles-Owens has
Obtained an Associate Degree in theological studies from Milwaukee Theological
Institute. In conjunction with an Associate Degree she as has obtained a Bachelors Degree from Logos Theological Institute. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Theology. She also has several certificates in Evangelism, Christian Ministry, and Christian Leadership. Presently Evangelist Battles-Owens is a member of the Greater Mt. Sinai Church of God In Christ where the Pastor is Elder Victor C. Davis Sr. On January 14, 2004, Evangelist Battles-Owens was appointed as President of the Evangelist Department. On November 7th 2008 Evangelist Owens was appointed a National Evangelist of The Church of God in Christ by Mother Willie May Rivers the International Supervisor of Women of the C.O.G.I C. She serves under the leadership of Bishop J.C Williams and Supervisor Ataska King. Professionally, Evangelist Battles-Owens is the CEO and founder of Theresa’s Different World Child Care Development. A childcare center which assist in the spiritual and natural growth of young children. Her aspiration in life is to see men and women walk in the full realm of God’s will and his way.
